Introduction	In the beginning... There was a little girl and her bobbets. Grown-ups called them slippers, but 'bobbets' fitted best. 'Bobbet' was the sound they made, as she dragged her feet across the ground. The years passed and the little girl grew, but she never did learn not to drag her feet across the ground. And though her bobbets are now slippers, her word has now come to mean anything she wants it to.
