| Introduction | I am an English Artist, living in Italy since 1980. Nature is my subject matter, with a particular emphasis on light in my paintings. In my bronzes of animals I like to explore movement and sometimes humour. After studying Zoology at University ( Wales) and two years of Illustration at Bournemouth College of Art, I was very fortunate to study classical drawing and painting under the Maestra Nera Simi in Florence.
