| Introduction | I received a bachelor's degree in journalism and psychology from the University of Miami. Currently I work for BizBash Media, which publishes a trade magazine and web site for the special events industry, as the Miami/South Florida Bureau Chief. I attend corporate and nonprofit events regularly such as fund-raising galas, product launches, mobile marketing events, fashion weeks, food events, festivals etc. We cover these events from the planner's perspective focusing on such things as logistics of planning, venue choice, decor, theme, entertainment, and marketing representation. Before joining the BizBash team in spring 2007, I previously worked in newspapers, magazines, public relations and marketing both in the States and abroad. |
