| Introduction | I am a born and bred Texan, who moved to Nashville, TN just in time to fall in love with all things Southern, including but not limited to, china patterns and chess pie. However, the call of my roots (and authentic Tex-Mex) eventually won me over, and I returned to Dallas for grad school. I'd like to think I am a good representation of two different parts of heaven on earth ~ Texas Sass and Southern Class, but in reality I have too many strong opinions to fall into the latter category. I am married to a theological math teacher, who is the exact opposite of me in every way. The only exception to our opposing natures is our mutual love of Jesus and relaxing together. We will take a couch and good TV show anytime, but prefer to lay on a beach (if we can chose). I am a counselor by training who has a love of church ministry, an extrovert with introverted qualities, and a Christian who is grateful for recovery! Oh yes, and after much heartache with infertility, I am now the mom of four! |
