| Introduction | I am the Associate Pastor at St. John in Summerfield. I am a member of the Florida-Bahamas Synod Council and have been asked to blog about our Synod Assembly. I have my B.S. in Mass Communications from University of Wisconsin-Superior. I was a 3-sport athlete in High School and College (soccer, ice hockey, and baseball/softball). My favorite sport is Baseball (not softball). I traveled around the country and Canada for 10 years playing women's hardball until 2008 when my knee has sidelined me to just a fan. I graduated from Wartburg Theological Seminary in Dubuque, Iowa in 2007 and started at St. John on Reformation Sunday 2007. I have been on Synod Council since May 2010. |
| Interests | Christianity, Lutheranism, baseball, ice hockey |
| Favorite movies | A League of Their Own (It inspired me to keep playing baseball rather than switching over to softball. I've met many real players from the All American Girls Professional Baseball League-the movie is based upon this league during WWII), Field of Dreams (I played Little League baseball in Chisholm, MN-the home of Doc Graham, if you know the movie) |
| Favorite music | It depends on my mood. I'll listen to anything. I enjoy Contemporary Christian Music. |
| Favorite books | I like the author Jan Karon and her Mitford and Father Tim Series. I usually like whatever St. John folks give me to read. |
