About me

Gender Female
Occupation Building Secretary
Location Othello, WA
Introduction I have been married to the love of my life for 30+ years and that has been hard work and a great pleasure. I have five children and would have had 12 if my stupid body would have cooperated (thank goodness it didn't or my mind would be even more far gone than it is--Isn't God wonderful to know better than we do!?) I have four grandchildren and that's pretty great! I work full-time as a high school secretary in a small town and think the kids for the most part are pretty amazing. I am the advisor for our school's anti-bullying group and I am loving that. I am on my computer all day at work and every chance I get at home. I love technology and all the information at my fingertips. I call myself a "techno-sponge" and love to learn new things about technology. I use the computer for genealogy, managing my family photo website at Shutterfly and finding digital scrapbooking stuff. I'm a collector of digital stuff and don't do as much actual scrapping as I should. I love my family and miss my dad, who passed away this summer after a long battle with cancer. I just take things one day at a time now and that's PLENTY for me!
Interests Family photos, genealogy, digital scrapbooking, reading, crossword puzzles, technology, making phone ringtones, oh I'm interested in almost everything but these are just some of the things I do.
Favorite Movies Pride and Prejudice, While You Were Sleeping, Sabrina, Harry Potter, Indiana Jones, Hellboy, Napoleon Dynamite, Young Frankenstein, I like all different kinds of movies...
Favorite Music The Rod Stewart Great American Songbook Collection, Michael Buble lately but I like almost any kind of music except really hard rock and stuff that is just NOISE. (I have enough noise in my life, thank you.)
Favorite Books Pride and Prejudice, Knight in Shining Armour (Jude Devereaux), sappy romantic stuff that takes me into another time/place, interesting historical fiction and non-fiction, Tony Hillerman's books, Janet Evanovich's books, I can't think of them all just now but I'm always reading a couple of books at a time (one in the car, one by the bed, one by the recliner, etc.)

Why does the taste of pennies remind you of losing a tooth?

Why would anyone taste pennies?
