Introduction	In March 2007 I co-founded Brown Girls Burlesque, an all women of color burlesque company in NYC. I am the Artistic Director. In three years BGB has turned into nothing short of a force of nature. BGB as group and has been featured at Oberlin College's Annual Drag Ball 2009 with Murray Hill, TRACE magazine's annual Black Girls Rule issue 2008 and at the New York Burlesque Festival 2008 and 2009. At NYBF I was also featured as a solo performer both years and participated in the highly successful panel about cultural appropriation in burlesque at the 1st Annual Burly Con in Seattle, US in 2008. In August of 2009 I moved across the pond to Manchester, UK where I am acting as the advance guard. I am dazzling everyone I meet with stories of BGB and wetting their whistle for the real thing...
Interests	creating art that is both functional and beautiful, sci-fi, buying wild colored wigs, applying glitter to every inch of skin I can, dancing in the streets...
