| Introduction | Born in Christchurch, New Zealand, horse-mad kid, never owned one, read about it instead. School, university, more books, honours degree in English Literature. Reluctant student teacher, teacher, traveller. Lived in the English countryside for years, lots of horses, some travelling, some teaching, plus husband and kids. Back to NZ, years on the ground, teaching then travelling then travel writing. Award winner! No money in any of it, but lots of living - and plenty more to do and see. Open to invitation! |
