Introduction	This is a blog on a little bit of everything: mental health, parenting and slushee recipes. Tips on dieting and having more fun. Suicide prevention, coping with depression and bipolar disorder, humor, getting outside and looking up. Memorable, meaningful stories and occasional poetry. I have a B.S. and an M.A. in behavioral psychology. I want to share my joy to help others smile. I want to share my pain to help others get through. So, like the Lynyrd Skynyrd song, all I can do is write about it.
Interests	Eliminating the stigma associated with mental illness. Jumping in rivers. Having random adventures. Lilacs, tattoos, cheese, behavior, small towns, big cities. Suicide prevention. Writing, reading, poetry, mania, kayaking, science. Learning how to live. Love.
