| Introduction | Sandro Del Rosario is an animation and media artist.
Born in Italy, he received a BFA with honors in Graphic Design from I.S.I.A., Urbino, and an MFA in Experimental Animation from CalArts, Valencia, CA. His work is inspired by places, feelings and memories of feelings, distilled through a labor intensive process that transforms still images, photos, paintings and collages in moving, imaginary spaces. Sandro’s work has been awarded and exhibited worldwide. He received fellowships and residencies at a number of prestigious colonies in Europe and in the U.S, and traveled extensively as an instructor, Visiting Artist and lecturer at universities and non-profit foundations across the States.
