| Introduction | On July 5, 2009 I became a vegetarian. It doesn't really matter why, it's just a personal choice. Do I think you should become a vegetarian? That's not for me to say. I'm just hoping to share my personal adventure into preparing healthy vegetarian based recipes. When I became a vegetarian, my favorite vegetarian food became "veggie pizza." Vegetarian yes, but not necessarily the healthiest - at least not on a regular basis. All that cheese is certainly not good for my already high cholesterol levels. And so I have slowly been trying out new, healthier recipes. Keep in mind that I am not a big fan of vegetables - but I've discovered that they can taste good without being smothered with cheese or butter. My hope is to share some of my adventure with you, and maybe you'll find a recipe or two that you'll like too. Let's get this adventure started! |
