Introduction	I grew up in a small town called Flatwoods, KY. Not many people have heard of it but it is close to Ashland. It is also the home of Billy Ray Cyrus, Miley Cyrus's dad! This is my fifth year teaching. I previously taught four years at Deep Springs Elementary. I have taught 1st grade for two years, 1st/2nd grade split one year, and 3rd grade. I am excited to teach 2nd grade this year! I am married and have two girls, Emma and Avery. Emma is 8 years old and Avery is 18 months old. They are both about to be big sisters! We are having another girl in Septermber. We also have a cat names Pumpkin and a dog named Reese. They love to play together!
