| Introduction | I'm a true "ROCKER" :) I love rocks of all kinds! I teach and supervise my gem and mineral club's lapidary shop, where I spend a great deal of my spare time. I teach others how to cut and polish gemstones for use in jewelry, and fabricate silver into jewelry settings. I also facet gemstones at my home studio. In addition to rocks and gems, I do a lot of metalsmithing, including silversmithing, hand forging silver, copper, brass, bronze, and working in metal clays. I'm always trying new things and working in new art mediums. This blog will document my experiments with new forms of jewelry and art media. My goal is to educate and inform others so they can learn from my experiences. |
