| Einführung | Welcome. I started this blog as a hobbyist to share my interest in collecting, building and painting fine scale miniatures. I focus mainly on the military, railroading and auto racing. A simple background summary reveals I am a proud father, an architect and former M1A1 Abrams Tank Commander. But my breadth and depth of life experiences also include serving as both a Marine and Soldier, as a Sergeant and Lieutenant, as a leader and teacher, working early in life repairing electronics, computers, radars, missiles, and plastic injection molding machines, and later in life in architecture, engineering and project management never forgetting I started as a draftsman. I even spent time as a young man working very hard as a drift miner 6 days a week in a gold mine in the Cargo Muchacho Mountains. I drive a Jeep where I tie my canoe on the roof and throw my camping gear and oars in the back to enjoy the outdoors. My fine scale miniatures are my escape indoors. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do sharing my journey creating them. |
