Introduction	Dear friend, hello and welcome to first grade! My name is Miss Marshall and I can't wait to be your teacher :) I hope that you have enjoyed your summer and are ready to work hard and learn a lot! First grade is a year filled with fun activities and great learning experiences. I cannot wait to meet all of you and see your smiling faces! Some of my favorite things to do are spend time with my family, travel, see movies, and go shopping! Our classroom is starting to come together nicely so I'm anxious for you to tell me what you think. You will even have a class hamster, named Timmy!
