| Introduction | Hi Everyone, my name is Gayle and I've been labeled the "Grandma" in my group of friends. Why is this? Well, putting my "Jewish mom" tendencies aside, I'm known to NEVER wear heels and often complain about my feet, back, hips, legs, or all of the above. Down to the fact that I had to get implants due to two missing teeth in my bite, which my friends call my dentures, I truly act and feel like I'm 85. For me, this is a place to be able to write down my journey to figuring out just why I have "grandma syndrome." From Connective Tissue Disease, to Fibromyalgia and back, doctors have not a clue. So here I will take you through my many efforts through medications, specialits, diets, and more, to get my symptoms under control and live my life feeling like the 27 year old that I am. *Please note...I turn 28 in May but I have no intention in changing the name of this blog...deal with it.* |
