| Introduction | When we discovered in October of 2008 that we were expecting our 3rd baby, we never could have imagined what was in store for us. On June 18, 2009 our third son Liam made his appearance into the world. Liam was born with a unilateral cleft lip and palate and bilateral PFVS/Norrie's, a rare eye condition leaving him blind in both eyes. What seemed insurmountable a year and a half ago seems almost 'normal' to us now. I can't imagine my life any other way! Liam has taught us so much in such a short time. We truly see the world in a different, more positive way. It's been a difficult road, one which we never could have imagined we'd be taking, and I'm sure to many when I say we're so blessed it may seem strange - but we are! Dave and I have been together for 13 years and married for the past 8. We have 3 sons together Lukas, 6 years; Brady 5 years; Liam 18 months, as well as Dave's son Nathan, 16 years. We have our ups & downs, but really - don't we all! Liam has touched the hearts of so many people and to keep everyone up to date on the amazing things he continues to do…Liam's blog was born! |
| Interests | I am addicted to lip gloss and have numerous tubes on me at ALL times. I think summer should be the one and only season. I'm not a fan of winter, snow, slush, salt stained boots etc. I've always wondered why wine comes in such a tiny bottle. If I could wear open-toe shoes all year I would. And most of all I'm in love with my family, my husband Dave and 3 beautiful boys, Lukas, Brady and Liam. I'm a mom first and everything else comes second! Being a mother has brought me the greatest joys in life and gives me the biggest sense of pride! |

| Favorite music | Really love the 80s, 90s too, and usually top 40 stuff. I hold a special place in my heart for 80s 'hair' bands - Warrant, Poison, Skid Row, especially Bon Jovi! He's so easy on the eyes! He just keeps getting better with age! |
| Favorite books | Really want to read, "If you could See What I Hear", by blind author Tom Sullivan. Can't find a copy for the life of me! |
