| Introduction | I am, as the hawaiians call it, hapa haole. my mother's chinese (with a little illegitimate hawaiian mixed in) and dad's all white. it's an interesting, if confusing mix. white people think I'm foreign and exotic and most chinese try not to consider me at all. or so my mother tells me. for any interracial couple: never tell your child a purist will hate them, even if you think it's true. I've graduated from Pepperdine University with a degree in English and cannot find a job. |

Why does the taste of pennies remind you of losing a tooth?
pennies have that metallic taste of blood. at least I'm assuming so because I don't stick coins in my mouth, that's just dirty.
