| Introduction | Ikeda Ippei began his study of piano in early childhood. As well as an highly praised performer of jazz and experimental music, he is also active as an actor, writer, and director of theater. He has collaborated on numerous occasions as a musician with traditional Japanese dancers, actors, and installation artists. Currently he acts with the theater group Yamiichi Kodo and performs widely as a jazz musician in Kyoto.
池田一平（いけだ いっぺい） ピアノ弾き。役者。1973年、大阪・滋賀出身。 大学在学時に演劇活動を始めるとともに、ジャズピアニスト岩瀬章光氏 に師事。 以降京都・大阪を中心にライブ活動を行う。 ジャズライブ活動 の他、舞踏・朗読のイベントやフラメンコダンスとの交流など多様なことをしている。 また1995年から現在まで、即興的演劇的行為集団「やみいち行動」のメンバー として活動している。 http://ikedaippei.site （池田一平オフィシャルサイト） |
