| Introduction | Born into a theological debate between my mother's Baptist church and my father's Methodist roots, I chose Methodism with it’s inclusive communion. Little did I know I would eventually become an ordained Methodist Minister. I am sure it would surprise my Sunday School teachers. I was the wild child breaking the rules, reluctant to follow any prescribed path or believe something because "the bible told me so." My young theology was gleaned from images in the stained glass windows and the music coming from the organ as my mother practiced. Today my theology is liberal, progressive and loosely Christian. I received a Master of Divinity from Pacific School of Religion, a member of the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, and a B.S from The Ohio State University. Prior to California, I lived in Tennessee, Kentucky, and Michigan. I was born and raised in Radnor, Ohio, a Welsh farming village from which I have an unending supply of small town stories. I am still a country girl at heart. |
