Introduction | I am senior researcher at Regcom, the Regulation and Competition Law Centre at Universidad de Chile, Faculty of Laws (www.regcom.uchile.cl); and associate member at the Centre for Law, Economics and Society in University College London (UCL) (www.ucl.ac.uk/silva/economics-society). I also act as chief legal adviser for the Chilean Electricity Generators' Trade Association. My past experience includes working for the FNE (the Chilean Competition Agency), where I was Head of the International, Research and Advocacy Division; Ofgem (the UK energy regulator), where I worked as legal advisor and policy analyst; and the Ministry Secretariat for the Presidency of Chile, as senior legal adviser; among others. I have also experience in consultancy. I hold a PhD in Law from UCL; an MSc in Regulation from the LSE; and a Law Degree from Universidad de Chile. My academic work includes publications in Chilean and international reviews. I enjoy playing the guitar, listening to music, spending time with my family and pub philosophy. |
