| Introduction | I am a quilter who also loves to sing, read and collect argyle socks. I spent the first 24 years of my life barely able to tolerate the bitter cold winters of Milwaukee. I do have one fond memory of winter: it was the sound icicles made when melting. That constant dripping and the eventual crashing of an icicle no longer able to hold onto the eaves of winter was a metronome to my ears. Having lived in Southern California for over 32 years now, I comfortably enjoy the subtle seasonal changes where a warm life is in bloom, in color and a-buzz around me. I'm currently working on writing my memoir. I have quite a story to tell - and tell it I must. If my journey to find meaning in my life can help one young girl discover a meaningful life, too, then I must tell my story as a mitzvah to others. I hope to complete my first full draft sometime ... For over 30 years I've been married to John, a most incredible, talented and gifted man. Two adorable Bengal cats grace our home. |
