Introduction Pre Architectura (by András Cseh) I’m a young Hungarian architect from Győr. When - after finishing university - I started working as an architect I encountered the communication difficulties between architects and clients. To help overcoming this problem I started discovering its origins - that architects learn to express themselves by a way too complicated language that others don’t speak. While desciphering this situation I also realized that in the 21st century people live almost all their lives in built environment, so it would absolutely be necessary for everyone to have a basic understanding of these surroundings. I started the Pre Architecura research programme at Moholy-Nagy University as my doctoral thesis and quickly ended up focusing on the practical approach of the subject. The Pre Architectura workshops are organized at, or with the cooperation of the Department of Architectural Design of Széchenyi István University, where I teach design subjects for BA and MA students of architecture. I also work closely with MOKKA (Contemporary Art Organization), a local group of different disciplines, who have been promoting art education for children for the past decade in Győr.
