Introduction	Welcome to my blog. I first became interested in Vision Therapy in 1974, when my younger brothers, who struggled with reading issues, enrolled in a Vision Therapy program after being diagnosed with vision problems. Their eventual success impressed me so powerfully, that I chose to change my own career goals from dentistry to optometry. I wanted to help others, the way my own brothers had been helped. During my years at New England College of Optometry, I requested as many Vision Therapy rotations as possible. Now, over 35 years in practice, I am continually motivated by my strong desire to help children excel in all areas of life by identifying and remedying the vision problems that are so commonly overlooked and misunderstood.
