| Introduction | My name is Kate and if you hadn't guessed yet, I work at a Retail bookstore. Well, that's not entirely true. I actually work at a wholesale bookstore. But calling myself “Kate the Wholesale Girl” made me sound like a prostitute. So, for the sake of my stellar reputation, Retail it is! But, take the happy, coffee-infused image of Barnes and Noble that’s in your head and replace it with one of a dusty, dank, and dark warehouse that could rival slave labor factories in India and only then will you have an accurate picture of where I work. Oh wait! Scratch all that. I was just FIRED from Retailopia hell. Now I'm unemployed and prone to semi-hysterical rants and paranoid delusions of doughy spawns of Satan. |
