Introduction I'm a direct response marketer. My heritage includes African-American and Native American Indian, the Choctaw tribe. Some say that makes me a modern-day rainmaker. Whether that's true or not, I've authored numerous articles and reports to help businesses grow, including 32 Marketing Mistakes That Cripple Businesses, Marketing Octopus Vs The Marketing Worm, Virtual Marketing in a Tangible World, How To Boost Web Traffic Conversion and many others. I launched my first direct mail business when I was only 13 years old. Made a lot of mistakes along the way. Have had successes too. I use that knowledge and experience to help others grow their businesses without facing the same mistakes I've already uncovered. Visit my offical marketing site at www.AndreBell.com
Interests Copywriting, market planning, publicity and promotions
Favorite Movies Shawshank Redemption (ultimate triumph of good over evil), Good Will Hunting (loved the character development), Princess Bride (hey, i like to laugh once in a while too), Spiderman (hero), Superman(hero), Xmen(hero), Iron Man, and pretty much anything else involving heroes willing to put their lives on the line to help others
Favorite Music Jazz, r&b, big band, classical, and Celtic music are what I mostly listen to. I like most 70's soft rock and almost everything current from Alicia Keys. Occasional hiphop is ok. but I HATE most modern gangster rap (oh, I do like Eve and Little Kim -- I just turn down the sound and love to watch them perform ;), The Brat and a few other female rap artists are cool too. Outside of some of Jay-Z's lyrics and a few of Tupac's, I HATE most male rappers. Most sound like idiotic nursery rhymes set to music and lack real rhythm. Oh. And they dudes aren't nice to look at with the sound turned off as the females are. I hope my wife never finds these comments or i'm a dead man :-)
Favorite Books Almost every Vampire book by Anne Rice, John Norman's Gor series (not at all politically correct by today's standards, even may be viewed as demeaning to women by today's standards --but then again, Mark Twain's books are on banned library lists for demeaning blacks -- just different time periods, same issues). Biz books: Ogilvy on Advertising, Robert Collier Letter Book, and many works of the old masters of marketing

Why don't you ever wear a scarf? It doesn't need to be cold outside for your neck to feel naked.

I live on the sunny central coast of california. A guy would look like an idiot walking around wrapped in a scarf in the nice weather we get.
