Introduction	I took on my first child abuse case in 1994 acting on behalf of victims who had been abused in childrens' homes. At the time there was no such thing as child abuse claims, but as time progressed we had a huge influx of claims and we had to expand the firm to meet the demand. I live in Macclesfield with my wife. I used to come home with terrible tales of child abuse and we decided as a family that we could offer practical help and a home to children. We qualified as foster parents in 2005 and since then we have fostered 25 children. We have found this to be a very rewarding experience.
Interests	I have enjoyed acting since the age of 10 and joined the Macclesfield theatre 5 years ago. I find that singing in a musical is a wonderful way of releasing pent up emotions which inevitably creep into managing a business devoted to child abuse.
Favorite movies	The Sound of Music, The Italian Job (Michael Caine version), The Full Monty.
