| Introduction | I'm Brittanie...Brittanie Anne if I'm in trouble...but usually just called Brit. I'm a little bit of lots of stuff I guess....taphophile, Southern belle, folklorista, ghost hunter, country gal, grunger, hillbilly, metalhead, redneck, geek, punker, gothy, goofy ass, reincarnated kitty cat...MEOW! A stubborn Taurus, I was born in the spring of 1981 and mostly raised in the southwest Jefferson County, Kentucky neighborhoods of Shively, Iroquois, Beechmont, Wilder Park, and Valley Station, with lots of friends and relatives spread over Bullitt, Hardin, Grayson, Edmonson, Hart, and Meade counties.
I have a seasoned background in genealogical, paranormal, and historical research, taphophilic studies and thanatology, logistics, transportation, quality systems, writing, database management, problem solving, and tech support (I know lookin at this blog its hard to believe the latter!). For the past few years I've been a freelancer and assistant to my mom in her ventures at Valley Liquors (a beer bar and liquor store in Valley Station).
