| Introduction | I drink red wine, I am a teacher, I write - sometimes I manage to combine two of those things at once but never all three. I am concerned with life’s Big Questions: If I’d got a dog first, would I have bothered having children? Why’s it so hard to get a grip in life? How can being Italian make you so proud and so ashamed all at the same time? Why is it so hard to say no to food? If I share my random thoughts with others, does that make me a writer?
