| Introduction | I enjoy self-introduction as much as I enjoy getting rid of a dead cockroach -- an extremely unpleasant act, but needs to be done every once in a while. After all, how do you condense all the years in your life into a few short sentences in an attempt to give off the best first impression? I wish I had colorful feathers so I could just flaunt them instead like a beautiful peacock, but alas, I am not one. I find myself changing the way I approach this every few years as I enter a new phase in my life. For now, I'm a book-obsessed writer and feminist who will talk your ears off should you approach me with any topics remotely close to feminism and literature. I loathe small talks. In their presence, I shrink into a reclusive introvert who will do little more than smile and nod. I also carry a liking towards the macabre, mainly speaking serial killers, so that's another conversation topic to add on the list. |
