| Introduction | I am Raja Basu, a Communications professional in his 30s. Though now settled in Noida (adjacent to New Delhi), my hometown is Calcutta or Kolkata in eastern India. I stayed there till 2001, when I shifted to New Delhi/Noida. Apart from holding a B.A. in Political Science, I also have a PG Diploma in Public Relations, and have also earned an elementary certificate in French from Alliance Francaise, Kolkata. I speak English, French, Hindi (India’s national language) and Bengali (my mother language). Though officially a Hindu, I have equal respect for all religions of the world. I even respect the feelings of the Atheists. I am a non-smoker and teetotaler, but certainly do not have any disliking for those who have the habit of smoking and drinking. I am single and stay with my parents. My father is a retired businessman, while my mother is a homemaker. I am the only son of my parents. |
