Do you believe that forks are evolved from spoons?
No way--we've found their common ancestor, the Spork. Natural selection eventually favored sporks that had mutated to either offensively spiky or defensibly round extremes until they became completely separate species. Forks and spoons can no longer produce viable offspring, which is why you can store them in the same drawer without worrying about explosively high levels of reproduction.
