Introduction I am a freelance journalist who writes news and features for national newspapers, magazines and websites. I mainly write about issues affecting children and young people in the UK and internationally, global development and business. I was formerly senior reporter at Children & Young People Now magazine and have worked for youth charities including YouthNet UK, Street Child in Sierra Leone and Y Care International. I am a London correspondent for Devex.com. In 2015 I won the Amnesty International Gaby Rado Memorial Award for best new journalist. In 2013 I was shortlisted for the CIPR award for most promising newcomer to education journalism. And in 2012 I won the Towers Watson award for Best HR newcomer to journalism.
