| Introduction | I've been involved with the internet almost from day one, working with the old style bulletin boards, right up and until today. I've seen the rise and fall of many popular sites and niches such as content farms, had successful sites and less successful ones as well. Most of all though I have fun along the way, and met some great people. One of my best ever sites was Article Alley it ran for around 6 years, and grew to having 500,000+members and more than 2 million pages, at its peak it achieved around 800,000 unique page views per day. Sadly it got slammed by Google in the Panda update, but I learnt a lot from the experience of building, running and promoting that site. All good things come to an end as they sadly say! On the personal side I really enjoy to travel, Cuba is a place I visited 4 times in the last 3 years and find it unspoilt and great value, A big skier I enjoy Canadian and USA resorts the most, but Switzerland has a special place in my heart also, as I dated a swiss girl whilst at Uni and thought for a while I would end up living there, but another thing that never happened. |
