About me

Occupation Primitive Folkartist
Location Indiana, United States
Introduction I share my 100+ year old home in our historic neighborhood with my hubbie, youngest of three sons & Luca, our Tortoise Shell Cat & Enzo our new Puppy. I have 2 Grandgirls & 1 Grandboy! I own Beth's Main Street Folkart and started out by hosting open houses for 17 years in our home! I opened a Storefront in October 2001 in a teeny-tiny shop and sold all handmades for 70+ Artisans. Tiring of competing with all the imports I thought about teaching some primitive stitchery classes & then primitive rug hooking, and before you knew it I had outgrown my teeny-tiny shop. My husband said, "Come home and teach" and I thought great, we'll build a Cabin in the backyard... Well, my friend Elizabeth bought the house right next door and we turned her garage into "The Bittersweet Cabin" on her 50th Birthday. That was seven years ago. I find Joy, Wisdom & Inspiration everyday spending time with my Family, Great Friends, The Granny Bee's (My Stitchery Group) and just Stitching or Hooking with Wool, Looking at Old Photographs, Old Recipes in really Old Cookbooks, Really ANY Old little or Big thing... Oh, and in my MMA Classes! I Love my Life!
