| Introduction | My demanding work schedule prevents me from painting every day. So if you don't see anything new for a while, you'll know that I'm working "dawn 'til unconscious". I work for a New Orleans auction house doing the ads and catalogs for our auctions of fine arts and antiques. Seeing all the incredible art that comes through our auctions has been very inspiring. I studied fine art in college (a long time ago) and always intended to start painting again someday. After Katrina I wondered what I was waiting for. It took a little while to get it all together, but since December 2007 I have been painting as much as possible. I started on portraits (why start with something easy) and have really gotten into painting still lifes. I hope you like them. |
