| Introduction | I am just a girl trying to stay awake during this single mom gig and enjoying the journey that has become my unexpected happily ever after. While I love being mom to my girls, Grace (9 1/2), Ava Claire (7) and Izzi (5), they aren't my life; God created me to do so much more than just mother. Everyone gasp collectively now. If you're still with me, here's a bit more about me. In the last four years since I've divorced, I've learned much about myself and about God while on a journey that's taken me to some pretty dark places. In the process, I've learned that life is best lived my way, so that's how I roll. This is the story of me. I may not be for some of you and that's fine by me. I live for the approval of One and He loves me just as I am. So, we do things a bit differently at our house; dance parties happen often, we cry a lot, we sing loudly, I dance while I drive (yes, with my girls in the car-they love it), my girls are my fashion consultants and sometimes, we even eat frosting off the floor. |
