Industry Arts
Occupation Art Teacher, Professional Artist, Mom, Professional Napper
Location State: HELL (aka: Arizona), United States
Introduction For 19 years, I've been married to Chris and we have three beautiful children together. Mikelle is 13 and Christian is 10. Alexander is 3. He joined our family just in time for Christmas 2010! I followed my aspirations to become an Art teacher, and May 2011 I finished my fourth year teaching and second year teaching High School. I'm now "on a break" so I can stay home with sweet turbo Alexander and pursue some art aspirations with pen and ink circle motifs. And I do teach art lessons out of the house every summer, so I'm not losing the "teaching edge". Chris is a Chemical Engineer and he works long hours, but at least he gets mostly 3-day weekends. Between being a Mom, Artist, Wife, and desires to keep up the home and have other projects, and LDS callings, I think brain cells have been severely compromised. However, I think they come together where it counts! Well, sometimes.
Interests Drawing, Napping, Watching Jeopardy!, Scrapbooking, Drawing, Watercolor, Oil Pastels, Painting, Ceramics, oh, and NAPPING. Scrapbooking.
Favorite Movies About a Boy, Sense and Sensibility (1995) Just Like Heaven, Argo, Shawshank Redemption, Hiding Out (1987 underrated movie - rent it!), Notting Hill, Pretty in Pink, So I Married An Axe Murderer, Sliding Doors, Back to the Future, Apollo 13, Juno, Chicken Little, Cars, Toy Story 2, Star Wars original trilogy. Iron Man, and I hate to admit it, but the 2009 Star Trek movie. D'oh!
Favorite Music Vintage and current DEPECHE MODE. Other music interests include U2, The Cure, My Chemical Romance, some Classic Rock such as Pink Floyd and the Doors, 60s Folksie stuff, Vintage underground 80s, and a few surprises.
Favorite Books When do I have time to READ? But I seem really into more educational non-fiction reads. Weird, I know. I did read THE HELP and couldn't put it down! Loved the movie too! But that's not really where my reading ends. I just don't read as much as I wish I could.

Do you believe that forks are evolved from spoons?

No, it makes more sense that we evolved from the DISH that ran AWAY with the spoon.
