| Introduction | i'm a poet/writer/artist. my first book, Confessions of an Empty Purse was published by Frontenac House in April of 2010. 'colouring with ants' is my new collection of poetry and memoir which i'll be soon searching for a publisher. ya know how it is. I was born, raised and relentlessly continue to live in Toronto. I grew up (ha!) in pre-gentrification Cabbagetown and Regent Park. I have performed my alternative spoken word performance pieces and poetry at various venues including Buddies in Bad Times Theatre’s annual Rhubarb! Festival and Paddy's Playhouse. I am the love child of Christine Jorgensen & John Rechy & the spiritual godchild of Jacqueline Susann. I'm also a visual artist and will be *showing* some of my artwork on my blog. |
