| Introduction | My name is Shannon. I have dreamed in color for as long as I can remember. I see things in my dreams-- places that I later discover are real. As a child, in the midst of most of my suffering, I "knew" what was going to happen sometimes. I have a tremendous desire to create-- anything. Music. Sculpture. Paintings. Drawings. Landscape. Words on a screen. This is my fulfillment of words on a screen. I doubt anyone will read these words except me. But I will keep them out there, so someday when my kids have questions about their past, I can explain it to them. In full, horrifying, glorious detail. |
