| Introduction | I'm the odd duck in my family ... but being normal is highly overrated. (at least that's what I tell myself) I work too many hours in the lab according to some people ... but I think that we just have different opinions of "too many". I'm a little crazy (hence the dual degree), probably a work-a-holic (refer to the previous), slightly OCD about some things, over committed and in need of learning how to say no. Saturday Farm calls are the highlight of my week, so don't bother trying to mess with them. My mornings and evenings depend on caffeine. I hate texting and depend heavily on my ipod. I have a small zoo of a chameleon, parrot, cat and two horses. My parrot gives kisses and my cat is the biggest snuggler ... ever. I am (admittedly) slightly obsessed with my horses and more than a little OCD about their care and well-being. I'm working on a DVM/PhD and will be/should be done in another 4 years. I struggle with balancing work and life (ok, that's an exageration .. I struggle with having a life outside of work, but I'm ... working on it!:-)). What can I say? I'm just me. |
