| Introduction | Twenty nine years of working in the animal health profession has shown me that the Lord knew what He was talking about when He said for us to take care of those creatures He created before us. The Human-Animal Bond is palpable, and it is a pleasure to support it in any way that I can. At the same time, it is also important to return back to the community the 'talents' you have been blessed with. For that reason, we have formed the nonprofit United Pet Fund (catch us at www.unitedpetfund.org) to 'Empower all those who help needy animals!' My hope is that we bridge the gap of understanding that sometimes exists between those in animal care and service organizations and those in the animal health profession. |
