Introduction	Originally from Northern Ireland, I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Genealogical Studies and work as a professional genealogist, running the Scotland's Greatest Story research service. As well as being a Tutor for Pharos Teaching and Tutoring Ltd's Scottish Resources Online course, I also contribute regularly to various genealogy magazines, as well as other newspapers and magazines. I previously worked for 12 years in factual television production for both the BBC and STV. I have also previously worked for elected representatives of the Scottish and UK parliaments, as both a case worker and a researcher.
