| Introduction | I have aspirations. High hopes in life that might or might not have come true. When I was 6, I wanted to be a vet. Because I loved dogs. And rabbits, a little. And maybe hamsters. But definitely not cats. When I was 11, I wanted to be an author, a writer. I still remember writing my first book: "My Teddy Bear". I was 8. I even drew my own illustrations. Then my sister "republished" a 2nd edition of my book, because she thought my illustrations were bad. When I was 12, I wanted to be a vet AND a writer. I imagined myself saving dogs, tigers and bears. Then going home to writing books with magical adventures like Harry Potter. When I was 15, I wanted to be a musician. A pianist. It was music all through high school. I was juggling piano, violin and guitar lessons. I was in the choir and was also the pianist. I was in the chinese orchestra. I've only ever composed one song and don't think it turned out very well. I think. When I was 18, I had no idea what I wanted to be. When I turned 20, I made a decision. Heck, I didn't even know that you're supposed to know what to do with your life when you turn 20. So now let's see what I'll turn out to be, shall we? =) |
