Introduction Dale is retired and lives in Branson, MO, having moved there from WA in 1995. He met Micki in 1975, knew her for 2 months, their engagement was 10 days. For the first six months of marriage, a motorcycle was their only transportation. The first year of their marriage they lived in an 8x12-foot cabin in the woods with no utilities. They've now been married 43 years, have six kids and two grandsons. Dale saved a woman's life when he was a boy, and has had his life saved at least seven times. After deserting from the Army and getting arrested and brought back, Dale was put in nuclear weapons maintenance at Camp Ames in South Korea. He hitchhiked across the U.S. several times--the last time with his wife and baby. Their four youngest children were born at home, underwater, and Dale was the midwife for the birth of their youngest. His first book was "All About Tarantulas" (TFH Pub., 1977). The son of a Methodist minister who instilled in him a religious sense, Dale is now Roman Catholic. His transportation is a 1942 Elgin bicycle. He doesn't have a cell-phone.
Interests Catholicism, Citroen 2CV, classic TV, Elgin bicycle, Mighty Mouse Fun Club, nostalgia, reading, vintage things, wild West, writing, etc.
