Voted 2000 Journalist of Year by readers of Grapplersworld.com. Won third place for Boxing Event Coverage in BWAA's 2003 Barney Awards for excellence in boxing journalism. Wrestled in high school, graduated Columbia with history major and philosophy minor, graduate work at NYU in magazine publishing.
