About me

Introduction	This year is my third year as a Hoyt Hawk. I have been teaching seventh grade math, but this year I will be teaching sixth grade social studies and math. I live in Ankeny with my husband and two naughty dogs. I have two grown-up children. Andy is a videographer for the Department of Defense in Laurel, Maryland, and Helen is a family practice doctor in Klamath Falls, Oregon. I have a Master's Degree from the University of Sioux Falls, a BS in Elementary Education from Minnesota State University in Moorhead, Minnesota, and a BA in German (Modern Languages) from the University of Mary in Winona, Minnesota.
