IntroductionFormer archaeologist. Undergraduate degree in anthropology, with minors in zoology, museum studies, and religious studies. Graduate work in urban and regional planning. Married more than a quarter of a century! We have a grown child who fulfills the promise of our parents' curse: "may you have a smart-a**ed child just like you...". I am a recovering Methodist Leader. I feel called to minister to pastors by filling pulpits at need. I'm currently striving to expand my circuit. What's a gibbon? Gibbons leap freely from tree to tree in faith that the branch will hold them when they land; orangutans move cautiously, never letting go of the branch they're on until certain of the next. Gibbons defend their turf by singing loud duets against the couple next door; gorillas puff themselves up and thump their chests in false bravado. When gibbons are mad they turn the other cheek and fade away into the mist of the rain forest; chimps throw poop! People think I'm Ravenclaw, I'm a Gryffindor-wannabe, but I test out as a Hufflepuff. Huff...
