| Introduction | I was raised in the wilds of Wyoming by cowboys, farmers, and sheepherders, but mostly by a grandmother who won 1st prize for her homemade pies at the County Fair every summer, and a mother whose first action after moving into a new house was always to knock out at least one wall to open up the space, and who read voraciously every spare moment. With so many strongly independent relatives about, I pretty much grew myself up like an unruly weed - with a fondness for cooking and wide open spaces, and a love for the written word. I took up drawing, painting, sculpting, and digital graphics later in life. Now I mentor others in all the creative skills I have learned and enjoyed. |
