| Introduction | I am a middle-aged woman with two wonderful grown sons, two amazing daughters-in-law, two gorgeous, brilliant grandsons and two equally gorgeous and brilliant granddaughters. I am a candidate for ordination in the UM church and am a chaplain for a local hospice provider. I also provide pastoral care and otherwise assist the pastor of my United Methiodist congregation. I formerly was coordinator of an older adult program at a local hospital. I have a Bachelor's degree in Community Health and a Masters in Christian Ministry. I love to be in the place where spirituality and health meet up. Working with older adults was not something I planned to do but that is where I ended up. It is said that we make our plans but God directs our steps so I believe that I am exactly where I am supposed to be. I never expected to find the many wonderful blessings that have come my way from walking this path. |
